About Us

Why choose Family Day Care?

Family Day Care is an approved form of child care that is provided in the Educator’s own home. Family day care Educators are Early Childhood Professionals who engage in the principles and practices of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and work within the requirements of the National Quality Framework. The Educators are registered with a Family Day Care service that is responsible for approving, supporting, training, and advising its educators.

  • A Family Day Care Educator operates under the same National Quality Framework (NQF) as other forms of childcare; incorporating national regulations, quality and qualification standards, educational frameworks, and an assessment and ratings process.

  • Parents are eligible to the same Federal Government Child Care Subsidy (CCS).

  • Educators work with a small group of children, providing a familiar, safe, and nurturing environment, in a home-based setting, which facilitates strong bonds and promotes effective early learning and social development.

“Working with children is extremely rewarding to me. I believe it is important for each child to be valued, to feel happy and secure within this environment, whilst developing close friendships within the group.”

The children at Lala’s Family Day Care receive an outstanding learning and care service, within a very warm, and nurturing setting. I encourage the children’s learning through play and help them to develop a sense of belonging by promoting an environment where they build connections with myself, their peers, the community and the world around them.

All Areas Family Day Care Scheme

Family day care schemes in Australia provide supervised care for children in the private homes of licensed caregivers. The schemes are responsible to approve, train, and support its educators, as well as co-ordinate the relationship between parents, children, educators and regulatory authorities.

Lala’s Family Day Care is registered with All Areas Family Day Care Scheme, which works with many Educators across the metropolitan area of Sydney to provide high-quality care for children within the Educator’s homes.

All Areas Family Day Care believes that children are unique and deserve to have the highest quality care.

“Our Educators are professionals who put the safety and well being of your child first. We believe that all families should have access to high quality home-based care services that are respectful and responsive to each child’s and families’ individual needs.”

For more information please see the All Areas Family Day Care website.

Philosophy

I strongly believe that although children share a similar path of development each child will develop in their own time and in their own way as unique individuals.

My passion is to make positive connections with the children and to deliver the highest level of care and education for all of them, valuing, respecting, and appreciating this uniqueness.

At Lala’s Family Day Care children will learn and grow in a nurturing environment where they feel safe, trusted, and free to navigate their learning journey, reaching their fullest potential by enhancing all areas of growth and development.

Working in partnerships with families is central to ensuring continuity and progression in a child’s learning, development, and future success. Through open communication and constant updates, I provide parents and children a sense of belonging and create a small community where we share and support one another.

Love, affection, and joy are the tools that guide my work!
